Both Paul and I were ‘brought up’ in integrated public relations. It’s always been the norm.
As the PESO model was much discussed a number of years ago, the PR industry has been slow to adapt, modernise and it lacks the diversity of thinking and skills (as well as its people), which would enable it to stand up to the big brother, marketing function.
In addition, I wanted to ask Paul why in his last podcast, Gini from Spin Sucks, thought PR was dying, according to a recent report in the US.
